The continuous rise in the popularity of socialism, coupled with a decline in the support of capitalism, is an ominous trend that if continued will lead to the end of both democracy and freedom in America.

Behind this trend is a group called the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) boasting a membership of more than 120,000 as of this month. Over 250 DSA members are said to be holding elected public office across 40 states, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Calling for policies like single payer healthcare, the Green New Deal, tuition-free higher education, and for "social ownership and democratic control" of the American economy, everything about the DSA is the perfect formula for the death cult that describes all Leftist policies.

Among its other advocacies: publicly owned social housing, universal rent control, the legal protection of criminals, the demilitarization of police departments, the disempowering of police unions and the redirection of state funding to public services as steps towards fully abolishing the police and the prison system.

If any or all of this seems insane, it's because it is. As Steven Crowder phrased it, "the socialists and the DSA are functionally retarded," while Harlem pastor James Manning labeled those who would vote for someone like Mamdani "crazy."

Indeed, the inability of most on the Left to even define the 'socialism' they pretend to support or to define the 'fascism' they pretend to oppose attests to this functionally retarded state of mind. After all, the very concept of 'democratic socialism' is a contradiction in terms.

Democracy and socialism cannot coexist. Those who do not understand this either don't know the definition of democracy, or of socialism, or of both. In fact, by their own public statements, socialists do not seem to understand the meanings of any political terms.

This might explain why Mamdani once declared that "If you have more than one socialist in a room and there isn't disagreement, then you don't have more than one socialist in a room."

And while socialists may argue among themselves over the spoils of their confiscated wealth from the productive, the one thing they all share in common is their mutual hatred of capitalism, ironically yet another term they cannot define.

In explaining the common psychology underlying this hatred, YouTuber Asmongold recently put it this way:

"Capitalism is an acknowledgement that you are a failure of your own design. The reason you don't have what you want is because you're not smart enough, you haven't put in enough work or you haven't come up with a good enough idea to earn that thing. Capitalism is accountability. Socialism/communism is group consensus accountability and nobody ever gets held accountable for doing right or wrong. Ever. And that's it."

Socialists have never understood the process of wealth creation, partly because they operate on an economic fallacy called the fixed pie theory - the idea that what exists is all that there is. Thus for those incapable of producing or creating new wealth, stealing from those who do know how to create wealth is seen as the only solution to their immediate needs.

The notion that some people can be helped by confiscating the wealth of others must be rejected. After all, it is that very wealth which, when invested in productive enterprise by those who earned it, will provide the means and opportunities necessary to make self-sufficiency an achievable goal for all.

To describe socialism in a way that is Just Right, one must understand that in all of its manifestations throughout history, socialism is a continual war on wealth and prosperity, two conditions it has never been able to create or maintain.
