Actions by Leftists over the years can only lead one to conclude that they are members of a death cult.

Attempts to describe the Left have generally been in economic terms: socialist, fascist, communist, Fabian, etc., but if we go back to 1969 we discover that one philosopher, Ayn Rand, described the Left in a way that stands to this day as accurate and even prophetic.

In her book The New Left: The Anti-Industrial Revolution, which was re-released as Return of the Primitive we find an essay that compared the Left to the Greek god Dionysus—the god of insanity, frenzy, and drunkenness and the Right with the god Apollo the “averter of evil,” the god of light, truth, education, and reason.

Rand uses two events of that year, the launch of Apollo 11 and the music festival near Woodstock, to startlingly juxtapose those two elements in society which seem forever at odds with each other—man’s lofty rational nature and his baser bestial nature.

Salim Mansur joins Robert Vaughan to discuss Rand’s insight into the fundamental nature of man and, in particular, the insanity of the Left.

The Donald Trump who announced his 2024 bid for the American presidency on November 15 was not the same Donald Trump running for office in 2016 or 2020. Far more critically aware of his hostile political environment and of the great dangers ahead, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago speech included some very cryptic and disturbing remarks that seemed to escape the notice of most observers.

Citing “the most corrupt forces and entrenched interests imaginable,” Trump warned “this is not a task for a politician or a conventional candidate,” calling upon the American people themselves to do the job. “I am your voice,” Trump vowed.

With the issue of the previous stolen election central to the litany of politically manufactured crises’ from Covid to climate change, Trump’s platform was loudly cheered as it struck at the heart of electoral integrity. Among measures called for were voter ID, same day voting, paper ballots only, and ensuring all votes are counted by election night.

But all electoral fanfare was overshadowed by a great sense of urgency and foreboding that transcended mere electoral considerations. “You can’t stay quiet any longer” pleaded Trump. “The only force strong enough to defeat the corruption is you the American people.”

Even as he vowed to “unleash liberty for generations yet to come,” Trump’s vision of a brighter future was attached to a dire warning of a darker present. “The citizens of our country have not yet realized the full extent and gravity of the pain our nation is going through, and the total effect of the suffering is just starting to take hold. By 2024 it will sadly be much worse.”

And then, in as cryptic and haunting a message as anyone would ever expect to hear from the president of the United States, Trump announced that by 2024 he would be relying on a nation awakened by its deep suffering. By then, he explained, “everyone will agree with us,” making it “much easier for us to do what has to be done.”

One thing is certain. Trump’s warning deeply suggests that it will no longer be “politics as usual.” The only question now remaining is whether or not doing “what has to be done” will turn out to be Just Right.

717 – Conspiracies—from theories to facts

No longer ‘theories’ but facts, the ‘Covid’ conspiracy and the ‘stolen election’ conspiracy have now been documented and verified by objective means. And with these facts, the ‘great awakening’ begins to accelerate at a pace not yet seen – which also accounts for the acceleration of the conspirators who insist that every person on the planet must be injected with their experimental ‘gene therapy’ posing as a vaccine.

The greatest evidence of the ‘great awakening’ is not to be found in plain sight, but in the massive resistance against so-called ‘vaccinations’ now directly being challenged by the conspirators themselves.

“It never occurred to me after three highly effective vaccines were developed in under a year, that we’d have difficulty getting Americans to take the shots,” lamented Republican In Name Only (RINO) Mitch McConnell, “but that’s obviously where we are.

“These shots need to get in everybody’s arm as rapidly as possible,” he insisted, “or we’re gonna be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for, that we went through last year. The way to defeat getting back into the position we were last year is to get vaccinated.” Continue reading »

716 – Parallels—From Covid to tyranny | Dave Plumb

In our previous broadcast with guest Dave Plumb, we examined the alarming political parallels behind climate change and Covid-19. Both issues are being exploited in an effort to lead world populations into accepting tyranny as their ‘new normal’ and it has been a remarkably successful effort.

Perhaps the most offensive and visible evil of the state lockdowns (now being justified by ‘vaccination’ agendas and no longer by flattening curves) is the mandated wearing of facemasks.

Not only are facemasks demonstrably useless in preventing the spread of viruses, they are also an extreme health danger to those who wear them for prolonged periods of time. Similarly, not only are the ‘vaccinations’ against Covid demonstrably useless for that purpose, but they too are an extreme health danger to those who take the jab.

Yet this paradox has both exposed and identified the whole COVID-19 fraud from the very beginning. It has been a steady pattern of repeated contradictions, about-turns, and outright lies being openly spouted by our elected officials on behalf of unelected bureaucrats.

Of course, the real purpose of mandating facemasks has nothing to do with health, but with politics. Compliance and submission are the government’s masked goals while the masks themselves serve as a visible measurement of that compliance.

Better still, from the statist point of view, the masks are a tool of propaganda that also visibly reminds everyone there is a ‘pandemic’ in progress – a ‘pandemic’ that would otherwise have gone unnoticed were it not for persistent propaganda and censorship.

So where is all this leading? In the progression of cause and effect, it is natural and Just Right to understand that all things about Covid are a ‘medical’ prescription for political tyranny.

712 – The grasshopper and the squirrel—a modern day history lesson | Salim Mansur

It is often said that we never seem to ‘learn from history.’ Perhaps in today’s context it can be further argued that it is impossible to learn from history given that history is being re-written to reflect a past that just wasn’t so.

This false depiction of history has been described as part of the so-called ‘cancel culture’ movement, a movement that has adopted all of the evils of the collectivist regimes defeated in World War II. Indeed, the history of the Western nations since the defeat of Hitler and the Nazi regime in 1945 reflects a philosophical shift towards the very collectivism that was fought against.

In the Western world today, our governments are openly adopting Marxist ideology under the guise of ‘equity,’ ‘racism,’ ‘white supremacy,’ ‘climate change,’ and even of fighting a viral pandemic. What all these seemingly unrelated issues have in common is that they are manufactured crisis designed to expand the power of the state at the expense of individual freedom.

How did we get here? That’s the question our guest Salim Mansur addresses as he describes Marx’s binary notion of the oppressor and the oppressed, a false notion that continues to be accepted as grounds for the destruction of individual freedom.

The parable of the grasshopper and the squirrel illustrates this lesson from history, suggests Salim. Continue reading »

In the political polarity of Left and Right, the Left represents a condition of tyranny and collectivism while the Right represents the condition of freedom and individualism.

It is tragic that so many who support freedom and individualism recoil from being labeled ‘Right,’ or otherwise avoid any political label entirely. It is tragic because such people have handed an epistemological victory to the Left, one that makes it nearly impossible to politically move in the Right direction – towards freedom instead of away from it.

Compounding the tragedy is the reason why most people are unaware of the correct Left-Right polarity as described above. There is a clear history demonstrating that it was those on the Left who contrived the false communism-fascism polarity of Left and Right. They succeeded in having this model taught in schools where they could indoctrinate people to believe that the political ‘spectrum’ places communism on the Left and fascism on the Right. But this is not so, and to believe so has tragic consequences for anyone who values freedom.

Why? Because missing from the Left’s political ‘spectrum’ model is any place for freedom and individualism, two political ideals diametrically opposed to both communism and fascism. The ‘spectrum’ model also creates the illusion of an imaginary ‘center’ or ‘middle of the road’ where one must be positioned to be at the greatest distance from each ‘extreme.’ Continue reading »

695 – The inconvenient truth about truth

In the era of this pandemic zeitgeist, ‘truth’ has become more elusive than ever thanks to a constant barrage of media propaganda and censorship efforts. Views expressed by those who believe them to be the truth have been censored and removed from various news and commentary platforms, thus revealing one of many inconvenient truths about truth itself.

For example, one inconvenient truth about truth is that some people value truth and some people do not – a source of genuine polarity and division between peoples everywhere. But another inconvenient truth is that each side of that polarity claims to be on the side of truth and accuses the other of lies and misinformation.

To determine truth in an objective manner, it is necessary to be able to discuss differences of opinions in an open and free forum so that all participants may validate or refute facts and narratives on the basis of available evidence and reason.

Perhaps the greatest inconvenient truth about truth is that without freedom of speech, discovering the truth is next to impossible. But this is inconvenient only to those who fear such scrutiny and their resorting to censorship is evidence that the truth is not on their side. Continue reading »
